While Structural Integration is primarily concerned with physical changes in the body, it affects the whole person. We are made up of emotions, attitudes, belief systems and behavior patterns that are stored in our physical being. All are related. Align the physical structure and you will uncover an individual's potential.

Structural Integration is not designed to treat specific symptoms, but rather to resolve chronic complaints that other modalities could not. Through the process, as function increases throughout the body, symptoms often fall away. People have consistently benefited in the following ways:

  • Reduced discomfort and pain
  • Improved posture, balance and stability
  • Greater flexibility and range of motion
  • A feeling of lightness and fluidity
  • Increased breathing capacity, energy, and awareness
  • Feeling more open, centered, and connected
  • Compartment Syndrome
  • Chronic Pain / Tension
  • Recovery from Surgery / Injury
  • Headaches, including Migraines
  • Back pain, knee pain, hip pain
  • Scoliosis, Spinal Lordosis and Kyphosis
  • Whiplash
  • TMJ problems
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Frozen Shoulder Syndrome
  • Foot problems (Plantar Fasciitis, Flat feet etc)
  • Childhood Development
  • Trauma Resolution
  • Mental/Emotional Wellness
  • Life Transitions
  • Overall Physical/Spiritual Health

"What words does one use to convey that there is a state of dynamic well-being that springs from operation on a dynamic level, where energy interchange can occur on the physical and muscular level without literally being blocked by the compensations which have occurred to keep the original distortions from destroying the body." -- Ida Rolf, PhD
